Our Story Jane Mason founded Miss Demure in 2015 by merging her online store, Patently Vintage, with Broughty Ferry’s Lingerie Shop. Her passion for vintage fashion and the desire to create a modern, relaxed shopping environment led her to transform the store into what it is today. Our Journey Jane's journey began with a love for vintage fashion, which she found challenging to source locally. After attending the London Edge trade show, she secured suppliers and set up her online store. When the opportunity arose to take over the Lingerie Shop, Jane saw the perfect fit to expand her business and provide a unique shopping experience. Challenges and Achievements Biggest Mistake: Ordering a large amount of stock from one brand that didn't sell well. Greatest Achievement: Refurbishing the store, installing a modern stock control system, and being nominated for an industry award. Future Goals Jane aims to make Miss Demure equally known for vintage-inspired dresses as it is for lingerie and swimwear.
